A sip of bubbly and a taste of the world

With a hint of culture and finesse, on a hill amongst artists, one will find a unique dining experience better suited to the New York highlife than San Antonio’s down to earth fare.

Since 2004, Bin 555 Restaurant and Wine Bar has been serving up a flavor-full world tour in dining, which is as much an art as the workshops surrounding it.

Having discovered the location by chance along West Bitters Road in Artisan’s Alley, I found myself being treated as a long returning friend rather than a mere customer.

With an extensive list of wines to tempt my taste buds and food offerings from the Mediterranean and more, Bin 555 was certainly not my idea of traditional dining out.

From this fun and laid-back hangout I was able to sample a bit of the world’s many flavors without having to wait in security lines or undergo a full body cavity search.

Bin 555 is a culinary blessing and thank God for small blessings.
